I will stand upon my watch, and set
me upon the tower, and will watch to see what He will say unto me and
what I shall answer then I am reproved.
And the Lord answered me, and said
Write the vision, and make it plain uon tables, that he may run that
reaeth it.
For the vision is yet for an
appointed time, but at the end it shall speak, and not lie; though it
tarry, wait for it; because it will surely come, it will not tarry.
> Habakkuk 2:1-3
But the end of all things is at hand,
be ye therefore sober and watch unto prayer.
> 1 Peter 4:7
The secret of victory over the world,
the flesh and the devil is -to Watch and Pray. When we do not do this,
we become frustrated, defeated and angry. We speak unwisely and do not
shine as lights in the world. We live in a fallen world in which Satan
is the god of this New Age of Spirituality.
We live in perilous times of terror. The
Second Coming of Jesus is to be preceded by a time of terror, when the
forces of darkness gather in mass to lead afinal assault upon mankind.
The world will be shaken to its moral and physical foundations.
We live in difficult days. In these last
days there will come times and troubles that will menace the very
existence of the Church; she will be damaged but not destroyed.
There will come upon the world a flood of darkness that will all but
quench the fire of goodness. There will be a remnant of fiathful
believers holding on to goodness, when Christ returns. Tehre are a few
good people out there, but not many.
We live in the days of the last
tremendous assault of evil -which is gathering strength and preparing
for its final assualt of evil before the Lord returns. Evil is
increasing and the forces of darkness will gather many deceived people
into their fold. It is a New Age of Spriritual Darkness, although
many would lcaim that it is New Age of Enlightenment and Spirituality.
We also live in a time of amazement. I
am constantly amazed {and saddened] at either the ignorance or apathy
among Christians to what is being heaped upon them by the forces of
darkness [who are masquerading as ministers of light and rightouesness].
Few Chrisitians are aware of or care about the iceberg of deception
and destruction that lies below the surface out of sight.
(Matthew 24; Luke 21; 2 Corinthians
10:1-7; 2 Corinthians 4; Ephesians 6:10-18; 1 Timothy 4:1-3; 2 Timothy
3; 2 Peter 3.).
Contemplative Spirituality. Mysticism
and The Global Mind Change.
The "Shift". The "Secret". The Emergent
Church. The Kingdom Now. The P.E.A.C.E. Plan. Do you know anything
about these movments and their teachers and leaders. Are you aware? Do
you care? All of these movements as well as others are merging
togther and will flow over the world like a massive flood and they are
not just fads that will pass away!
We live in a time of dulled awareness in
which people have slowly and deliberately been led away from the truth
and have no sense of the danger around them. (2 Peter 2 & Ephesians
5:6-17)

What is Watching?
Watching is seeing reality
through the lens of God's infallible Word. Watching means to be awake
and alert of surrounding realities. A watchful person rejects the
wisdom of the world, which is really foolishness and receives the
wisdom of God, which is foolishness in the eyes of the world.
The watching person is
spiritually alert and very aware of sin and knows that he can stumble
and fall - and he can go to God for forgivness and cleansing [I John
1:9-10]. The watchman is aware that Satan and his pack of demons are
constantly prowling about seeking those they can deceive and devour,
so, the Faithful Watchman STANDS, WATCHES, AND WARNS.
A watchman knows that this world
is not his home and is not abiding and will one day pass away. And he
realizes that at any moment he can die and slip into eternity. His
citizineship is in Heaven, but his place of service in in the
Watchtower.
The watchman is spiritually
prepared to deal with the forces of evil in this world. And he will
faithfully shout out the warning, "the enemy is approaching, the enemy
is at hand," even is no one heeds his warning.
The watchman knows that he is in
a struggle against the forces of darkness that seek to make him fail
and fall. But he is also aware that his Lord Jesus is coming back
-soon!
And so listen to the Watchman!
And look up into the Tower and
see him---
STAND, WATCH & WAIT!
