Hello PZ Members,

This last weekend was an interesting one for me indeed. I spent a lot of time with a good friend of mine who’s marriage is in shambles. This man loves the Lord and is faithful to him.

When I hear about this, it really is nothing new. But when it hits close to home, it becomes more realistic and not something that “happens to other people.”

I have been struck by how much the family is under attack in this nation.

But to tell you the truth, again it does not surprise me.

Recently a new Barna poll shows that the “born again,” Christians, now overwhelmingly support Hillary by 20% and Obama 18%

This is mind blowing to me. How is it possible that seemingly devout Christians could support a party that stands for the innocent death of millions of babies and have candidates who even argue over about who supports partial birth abortion more. This is the same party that is working hard to redefine marriage so drastically away from one man and one woman to what ever floats your boat. Everything is becoming ok, even the acceptance of preying upon our innocent children and even fido down the street.

Why are so called Christians willing to accept this?

It is no surprise because it is what is being taught in the churches today.

Recently Rick Warren, famous mega author and pastor of the mega church “Saddle Back said….

"People are so worried churches are going to be about conversion," he said, "but everyone has a motive. Everyone has a world view. Christianity is a world view. ... I don't care why you do good as long as you do good."

Rick, get a clue, it isn’t what purpose you have or the deeds you do that get you into heaven. It is the blood of Jesus Christ and the true realization that you are sinner in need of a savior.

Look at this list again and ask yourself, “How many folks who call themselves “Christian” portray these characteristics?” But here is what cuts to the chase. This list is a perfect description of the world today particularly here in the US.

Romans 1:22 (KJV) Professing themselves to be wise, they became fools.

People have gotten away from the Lord and it shows. They think they are all knowing but in reality, they are fools. What are your thoughts on this article?
